The Grip is a one-time character in BoJack Horseman. His only appearance is in The Dog Days Are Over in Season 5.
Physical Appearance
The Grip is a bald eagle with a white face, yellow beak, and a brown body.
He wears an orange button-up collared polo shirt, grey pants, and brown lace-up boots. He also wears a dark green baseball cap with a white front panel that reads "CITY SPORT" in big green block letters.
Personality
The Grip becomes angry when he learns about the truth about Diane. Little else is known about him.
Background
Season 5
The Grip is an American eagle introduced in The Dog Days Are Over who is working on a film project in Hanoi, Vietnam. He also happens to be staying at the same hotel as Diane, along with the rest of his film crew. He tries to order a beer to no avail, due to a language barrier.
Diane decides to pretend she can't speak English and starts a brief affair with him. Later, on a set tour, it comes out that she actually can speak English after all. This angers The Grip as he has been lied to thus ending their relationship.
