Tamara is an employee at Hammerhead Hardware and a minor character in BoJack Horseman. She makes her only episode appearance in The Old Sugarman Place in Season 4.

Physical Appearance

Tamara is a young human woman with a tan complexion, slender build, pink lips, and bushy black eyebrows. Her sandy brown hair is pulled back into a ponytail, with a white hairband, and she wears a white visor.

She is seen in her work uniform. It consists of a red short-sleeved Hammerhead Hardware graphic t-shirt which has an outline of a hammerhead shark holding a hammer and the words HAMMERHEAD HARDWARE at the top and bottom of the shark in white lettering, a pair of frayed denim shorts, and lime green flip-flops.

Personality

Tamara is a somewhat rude and nosy woman who seems to have a shared obsession with celebrities along with her best friend and co-worker Tamera, as they are both seen pestering BoJack and asking him invasive comments about Sarah Lynn's death and his involvement.

However, both women seem to be hard-working as sales associates as they were both nominated for "Employee of the Month."

Background

Season 4

BoJack Horseman goes to Hammerhead Hardware, to get supplies to repair his grandparent's depleted summer home, where he is squatting.

He is bothered by the two teen girls who work there, Tamera and Tamara. They keep questioning if he's BoJack and ignore him when he says he isn't, saying he's fat and asking about Sarah Lynn’s death.

They also say he looks like Phil the stock boy, who is a donkey, the only real resemblance between the two of them being a similar white diamond-shaped birthmark on their foreheads. Tamera later informs BoJack, calling him “not BoJack," on Paul Giamatti playing him in FX's biopic about Sarah Lynn.

Later, Eddie agrees with BoJack on how annoying and rude Tamera and Tamara are, with BoJack not wanting to go back to the hardware store due to them.
