The Unnamed Sign Company is Mr. Peanutbutter's "favorite" sign company, which he hires throughout the series to make banners and other promotional materials.
It is a running gag that the company always misinterprets Mr. Peanutbutter's instructions and prints the wrong words.
Background[]
Season 1[]
The company's work is first seen in Horse Majeure, where the banner at Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane's rehearsal dinner reads "CONGRATS DIANE AND MR. PEANUT BUTTER / PEANUT BUTTER IS ONE WORD." The actual wedding features a revised sign that reads "CONGRATS DIANE AND MR. PEANUT BUTTER / PEANUT BUTTER IS ONE WORD DON'T WRITE ONE WORD."
Season 2[]
In After the Party, Mr. Peanutbutter hires the company to make t-shirts for Diane's birthday that read "I had a ball at Diane's 25th birthday and underline ball I don't know why this is so hard."
Season 3[]
In Old Acquaintance, Captain Peanutbutter hires the company to print a banner that reads "Welcome home little bro! Oh, also I have a Groupon."
Season 4[]
In Thoughts and Prayers, the company prints campaign banners that read "P.B. FOR GOVERNOR / IS GOVERNOR SPELLED WITH AN E OR O?"
Season 5[]
In The Dog Days Are Over, Mr. Peanutbutter uses the sign company for creating a banner for his housewarming party. It reads "Mr. Peanutbutter's housewarming bash and can you send me a picture of the banner before it goes off to the printers this time?"
Season 6[]
In Nice While It Lasted, Mr. Peanutbutter hires the company to renovate the Hollywoo sign, restoring it to "Hollywood." However, the company misinterprets his instructions, and the sign becomes "Hollywoob" instead. This is the last use of the sign company in the series.
