Mr. Peanutbutter's House is a sitcom in the BoJack Horseman universe that starred Mr. Peanutbutter as a dog who adopts three orphans, a pair of twins named Zoë, Zelda, and a teenage boy named Zachary.
Production & Development[]
The show competed with another 1990's sitcom Horsin' Around (of which it is correctly called a rip-off by BoJack Horseman). The show is created by David Chase (creator of The Sopranos) and Steven Bochco (NYPD Blue).
During production, the show was titled "Untitled Horsin' Around Knockoff."
In the original pilot, the adult lead was a single break dancing instructor, but it is unknown if this carried over to the finished show.
Vincent D'Onofrio was originally slated for the said role but quit the project after he was told he was not likable enough. Mr. Peanutbutter, who had accidentally stumbled onto the set, was immediately cast as his replacement due to his natural ability to charm the audience.
