Lyla K. is a minor one-time character in BoJack Horseman. She is the girlfriend of Diego. Her only appearance was in Escape From L.A., in Season 2.

Lyla K. is a spotted green turtle girl with orange eyes with black pupils.
It is unknown what she wears as everyday attire, during the time period of Escape from L.A., or currently.
She is seen at prom wearing a teal-colored floor-length spaghetti-strapped prom dress with white sequin design on it which goes over her shell, shoes, white corsage on her wrist, and a red clutch purse with white rhinestones and a metal clasp. For make-up, she wore a blue eye-shadow.

In Escape From L.A., Penny has a crush on a teenage classmate from her school, Diego Mendoza.
He appeared to be a very popular kid at his high-school, and Penny Carson had a crush on him. The two also lived in the same neighborhood, Penny claims they have a “thing,” when they say “hey” to each other.
Penny is able to overcome her shyness around him and asks him to the senior prom. He rejects her, choosing to go to prom with Lyla K.; a turtle girl, over her.
Little else is known about her, or her personal life.
