Dr. Janet is a minor, recurring character in BoJack Horseman. She is a couples' therapist. Her first appearance is Love And/Or Marriage in Season 3.

Dr. Janet is a human woman with dark grey hair and light grey highlights that falls above shoulder length. She has slight wrinkles.

She wears a white v-neck shirt, maroon buttoned knit cardigan, above the knee length grey skirt, and grey kitten heels. She also wears a gold diamond pendant necklace.

Dr. Janet is a couples' therapist that Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter see to improve their relationship.

Season 3[]

In Love And/Or Marriage, Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter see Dr. Janet in order to improve their marriage. They start off by talking to each other.

Mr. Peanutbutter talks about his wife descriptively, while Diane struggles to organize her words for Mr. Peanutbutter. Dr. Janet questions how Diane cannot organize her words well, even though she's a ghostwriter.

Season 5 cameo appearance

Later on, Diane organizes her words and talks to Mr. Peanutbutter after taking drugs.

Dr. Janet starts off the episode in Old Acquaintance by describing how she saved the couple's relationship. "The couple" is then revealed to be Rutabaga's relationship with his wife Katie.

Season 5[]

She makes a brief cameo as she is mentioned in INT. SUB. When Dr. Indira beats herself up by being unable to help Diane much,Mary-Beth references her quote, "Don't beat yourself up!"
